Payroll and Compensation Information

Payroll Processing & Payment Information  #

  • Direct deposit is the preferred payment method, with deposits typically posting on Fridays
  • If you receive a physical check, please allow 7 to 10 business days for delivery and deposit it promptly within 90 days of receipt

Payroll is processed weekly. View downloadable payroll calendars for each AP Reading subject here. Each calendar displays the designated workweek for payroll purposes, including the start and end dates for each week.

Raise defines a workweek as beginning at 12:00 AM EDT on the first day of the Reading and ending at 11:59 PM EDT on the seventh day of that cycle. For those participating in a Pre-Reading, the workweek begins one week prior to the official start of the Reading.

These calendars help determine when hours are counted for payroll processing and overtime eligibility. Each workweek is highlighted in a specific color, which corresponds to a pay date ($ symbol) listed on the calendar. This means that the earnings for a particular workweek will be processed and paid on the date that shares the same color

Example: Kansas City Session 2 Calendar

  • The workweek from June 11 – June 17 is highlighted in blue, indicating that any hours worked during this period will be paid on the date marked with a blue “$” on the calendar.
  • The next workweek, June 18 – June 24, is highlighted in green, meaning these hours will be paid on the green “$” date shown on the calendar.
  • This pattern continues, ensuring you can easily track which workweek corresponds to which paycheck
