Can I score outside of the United States?

Yes. AP Readers participating in at-home scoring may complete their assignments from locations outside of the United States.

This option does not change eligibility requirements or work authorization expectations for AP Readers. All AP Readers must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.

Before accepting an invitation to participate as an at-home Reader, Readers should review the mandatory training and scoring dates and times for their subject posted in Reader Registration. Readers must be available to participate fully in all required training sessions, meetings, and scoring activities at the scheduled times, regardless of the time zone the Reader is working from.
